The acting overall is fantastic every substantial cast member makes the best out of the screen time they're given and we see some actors who we haven't seen much of before really shine in this season and show us what they're capable of as actors. This show uses its supporting characters well and not only gives them moments to impact Murdock but also to effect the show itself and almost be more than supporting characters. Overall they show how much ass Matt Murdock can kick despite how vulnerable he really is and the fact that he doesn't have any overly fancy superpowers. The action and fight choreography are top notch the hallway fight is probably the best action sequences in any of the Marvel Netflix shows, and other sequences raise the bar as well. Murdock's struggle to balance his work life with his vigilante life and how that struggle impacts his relationships with his friends is interesting and engaging to watch. The backstory and origin for Daredevil are mixed in really well with Matt Murdock's story as an adult and don't disrupt the flow of the episodes or season at all. Everything about this season works perfectly: the story, the dialogue, the action, the acting, the villain, etc. Daredevil season 1 for me is the best season of the best Marvel Netflix show to date.
